How does Profhilo work?

Unlike other injectable treatments, Profhilo is a skin booster with skin tightening and lifting properties. Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid (HA) is injected at the bio aesthetic points, boosting the skin’s hydration and plumpness. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally present compound in our bodies that helps retain moisture in the skin.

What happens during the procedure?

The area is properly cleaned, and bio aesthetic points are mapped out on the face before the treatment begins. The HA is injected just below the surface of the skin and immediately spreads beneath the skin to increase hydration and luminosity. Profhilo is only absorbed within a 2cm radius of the injection site, needing a total of 10 injection points to treat the face. For optimal results, Profhilo requires 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart. The treatment only lasts 10 to 20 minutes.
